Advertising Rates

Visitors

This Directory was just launched in July. We've been getting about 100 - 150 visitors a day. As the site becomes more well-known, those numbers will hopefully go up.

Ad Placement

Initially, ads will display in the right-hand column of each page. Once there are more than 7 advertisers, ads will display only on the category pages in which the advertiser is included. The first 5 advertisers to sign up will also display on the home page.

Rates

Initial rate: $30.00 per quarter.

This rate is good for one quarter only. Around September we will review the number of ads received, amount of traffic and visitors to the site and other aspects and may adjust the price. At that time it is likely that a rate scale will be developed based on desired placement and original placement date of the ad.

Ad Specifications

Standard banner size of 120 x 60 pixels. File must be optimized to keep the total file size as low as possible.

Submission

To submit your ad, send the ad file (or a link to where it is located on the web), and your billing information to directory@soapmakers.com. You will be sent an invoice with on-line payment options and, once paid, the ad will go live.

The numbers of visitors stated above is accurate as of July 28th, 2004. While we expect it to increase, we do not quarantee any specific number of visits or page views now or in the future. We do promise to be accurate in reporting the traffic so you can determine the value of placing an ad on this site. And, of course, we do not guarantee or make any promises regarding the amount of traffic you may get from your ad on this site.
