A few things to know about business transactions with ForSoapmakers:

Business Name

If you pay by credit card or PayPal, you may notice that the business name is S&M Enterprises.

Orders with South Carolina billing addresses are subject to a 6% sales tax.

Usability of Products

We sell products, bottles, tubes, and ingredients that are all useable. However, that does not mean they are the correct use for your application or product. It is our responsibility to send products in good condition; it is your responsibility to ensure they are of the correct use for your intended application.

Because ingredients can be contaminated once they are outside our control, we cannot accept returns on any ingredient products. If you are unsure if an ingredient will work for you, order a small amount before you place a large order.

In the same way, malibu tubes and foam pump bottles work for some applications but not for others. If you are unsure whether a tube or foam pump bottle is compatible with your product, order a small quantity to test before ordering a large amount.

Returns Policy

If the wrong product has been ordered, notify us by email immediately to arrange for the return of the product. Returns must be arranged within 30 days from the date of shipment. You will be responsible for all return shipping charges and will only be refunded once the items arrive to us in usable condition. Only the price of the actual product you are returning will be refunded.

Shipping Costs

Our shopping cart can estimate the shipping costs for your order, but your actual shipping costs may vary from the estimated cost. Please see our Shipping Info page for details.

Order Fulfillment Errors

Although we have implemented various controls to process and fulfill every order correctly, occasionally human error is unavoidable and results in an order fulfilled incorrectly. In the unlikely event your package does not contain what you ordered, call or email us immediately. We will send you the replacement items as quickly as possible.

Depending on the items sent in error and the shipping costs required for return, we may request the items you received in error to be repackaged and sent back to us. In that instance, we will arrange for the items to be picked up and/or reimburse you for the postage.

Please check received orders immediately upon arrival. If an error has occurred, we must be notified by phone call or email within 30 days of the date of shipment from our facility. If we are not notified within 30 days of the date of shipment, we will be unable to correct the error.


Damaged Packages

All our items are packaged as carefully as possible, but occasionally damage is incurred at some point in transit. If your package arrives obviously damaged, do not open it. Note the damage, inform the driver or delivery person, then contact us right away. If possible, take pictures of the damage and send them to us electronically. We will address documented damages and ensure you have replacement products as quickly as possible.

If damage can be seen inside the box but no damage is seen outwardly on the shipping box, contact us right away by phone or email. A description of the damage, your name, and the order number (for tracking purposes) will be needed. Additionally, pictures sent to us electronically will help us ensure prevention of similar damage in the future. We will provide replacement product(s) as quickly as possible.
